Hello everyone. My name is Nguyen Anh, and today I am very honored to introduce you to my hometown – Nha Trang. Nha Trang is a coastal city and the capital of Khanh Hoa province in Vietnam. It is located on the south central coast of the country. If you look at the map of Vietnam, you will find Nha Trang about halfway between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, right by the blue East Sea.
First of all, let me tell you why Nha Trang is famous. Nha Trang is well known for its beautiful beaches and islands. We have a long stretch of white sandy beach right in the city, and many small islands off the coast. In fact, Nha Trang Bay is widely considered one of the most beautiful bays in the world. The water is warm and clear, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Tourists from all over the world come here to enjoy activities like scuba diving and island hopping. One of the most popular attractions is Hon Tre Island, which you can reach by a spectacular cable car across the sea. On that island, there is an amusement park and water park that everyone loves.
Secondly, Nha Trang is a city rich in history and culture. Historically, this area was part of the ancient Champa Kingdom. We still have the Po Nagar Cham Towers, built by the Cham people over a thousand years ago. These towers are located on a hill by the river, and they are a sacred site where people worship the goddess Po Nagar. From the top, you can see a panoramic view of the city and the Cai River – it’s truly breathtaking. Nha Trang also has Long Son Pagoda with a giant white Buddha statue sitting on a lotus, which is another famous landmark. Visiting these sites, you can learn about the cultural heritage of my city, from Hindu Champa influences to Vietnamese Buddhist traditions.
Next, I want to talk about the lifestyle and people in Nha Trang. Nha Trang is not only a tourist destination but also a lively city with around half a million residents. The people here are friendly, welcoming, and proud of our city. A typical day in Nha Trang starts early, with locals exercising by the beach at dawn. The city is known for fresh seafood – if you ever visit, you should try dishes like bún chả cá (fish cake noodle soup) and nem nướng (grilled pork rolls), which are local specialties. Life in Nha Trang is comfortable and active, but also more laid-back compared to the big cities. We enjoy a tropical climate with lots of sunshine, so it feels like summer all year round.
Education and events are also an important part of Nha Trang. We have universities and institutes, such as the Nha Trang University and the Institute of Oceanography. In fact, Nha Trang, being a coastal city, is a center for marine science research in Vietnamen.wikipedia.org. Every two years, our city hosts the Sea Festival, a big event with parades, music, and exhibitions to celebrate our marine culture and tourism. It’s a time when the city becomes even more vibrant and colorful, attracting many visitors and promoting cultural exchange.
Now, why do I love Nha Trang? I was born and raised here, so Nha Trang is not just beautiful scenery to me – it’s home. I love the feeling of the sea breeze every morning and the sight of the sunset over the ocean every evening. I love how I can go for a swim after school and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us. Living in Nha Trang has also taught me to appreciate nature and community. The city might be growing, but we still cherish simple things like walking along the Tran Phu beach road, eating ice cream with friends by the shore, or watching the city lights reflect on the water at night. Whenever I am away, I miss the sound of the waves and the taste of fresh seafood.
In conclusion, Nha Trang is a truly special place. It is beautiful, with its blue bay and golden sands; it is historic, with its ancient Cham towers; it is vibrant, with festivals and friendly people. I invite all of you to visit Nha Trang someday – come swim in our warm ocean, explore our culture, and taste our delicious food. I am proud to be from Nha Trang, and I hope my introduction has given you a glimpse of why I love my hometown. Thank you very much for listening!

Bài thuyết trình mẫu trên dài khoảng 3-4 phút khi nói. Để chuẩn bị tốt cho phần thi tài năng, các bạn học sinh nên:
